About the studio:

Despite being a relatively small studio, The Porridge Pot is the perfect creative recording environment due to its charm and character. Situated 13 miles from Thetford, Norfolk in the beautiful village of Methwold, it is a great facility that can accommodate both acoustic artists and full rock bands.

Equipped with a top of the range Roland TD20 electronic drum kit (triggering world class drum samples from Superior Drummer 3), the studio set-up lends itself to live recording sessions where acoustic drums would normally overpower other instruments.

The studio is kitted out with a range of quality microphones (AKG D112, Shure Beta 52, SM57s/ SM58s, AKG C100s, Rhode NT1-A etc) and runs Logic Pro X (with a number of special plugins).
